HP1600 XG(S)-PON OLT is a chassis-type XG(S)PON/GPON OLT device independently developed by our company, which can provide highly integrated and large-capacity integrated access for operators, ISPs, enterprises and park applications.
The product follows the technical requirements of ITU-T G.984/G.987/G.988/G.9807, and the software has complete functions, good openness, strong compatibility, and high reliability. Cooperating with GPON/XG-PON/XGS-PON optical network unit (ONU), it can be widely used in the construction of access network networks such as FTTH, government and enterprise park access, campus network access, etc., which provides users with broadband, voice, video, monitoring and other comprehensive service access.
Product Overview:
This OLT adopts a compact frame design, supports GPON/XG-PON/XGS-PON mixed insertion, 2 main control slots and 2 user single board slots. Besides, it also supports a maximum of 32 GPON ports/32 XG(S)PONs, and each PON port can support a maximum of 128 optical network units (ONUs). The main control board of the system can provide 4 GE/10GE SFP+ interfaces and 2 100G QSFP28 ports.
Height is only 2U, easy to install and maintain, and save space for customers to the greatest extent, which adopts the industry's advanced technology. This device has efficient bandwidth utilization, Ethernet service support capabilities, and provides customers with reliable solutions. Support mixed networking of different types of ONUs, saving a lot of costs for operators.

GPON/XGPON System reference model:
The GPON/XGPON system usually consists of the OLT at the office side, the ONU and the ODN at the user side, and adopts a point-to-multipoint network structure. The ODN consists of single-mode optical fibers and passive optical devices such as optical splitters and optical connectors. It provides the optical transmission medium for the physical connection between the OLT and ONU.

Operating Status LEDs
The operation status of HP1600 XG(S)-PON OLT can be determined by using the front LED. The panel LED indicator will display the status of each interface. The meaning of LED is shown in the following table

The HP1600 XG(S)-PON OLT service subrack provides 2 slots, and has a fan tray at the left.The subrack is installed in the cabinet through the mounting brackets.

The ESD jack of the HP1600 XG(S)-PON OLT subrack is on the top right of the fan tray, which is used to connect the ESD wrist strap to prevent device damage caused by electrostatic discharge.

The HP1600 XG(S)-PON OLT subrack has 1 ground points. on the the bottom of the right mounting ear of the subrack. Ground the subrack securely so that the influenceelectricity, leakage electricity can flow to the ground, improving the protection against electromagnetic interference.Use a ground cable to connect the ground point of the subrack to the ground bar of the telecommunications room or to the ground directly. It is recommended that the grounding resistance of the telecommunications room should be less than 10 ohms.Refer to the local standards to ground the subrack.

FAN Brief Information:
The functions of the fan set are as follows:

Heat dissipation
The fan card is located on the right side of the business box and is used to expel hot air for heat dissipation. Cold air flows into the frame from the left side and then is discharged from the right side through the board card from the right side.

Monitoring
A fan detection board is installed inside the fan frame to check for any faults and ensure that the fan is in normal working condition. Fan monitoring board as well Provide ports for communication with the control board. The detected information is transmitted to the control board through fan monitoring.

Speed adjustment
The fan speed can be adjusted according to the detected temperature conditions. It supports automatic adjustment based on temperature or manual adjustment by setting relevant data. The default speed is 60%.

Automatic mode
– Control-system-triggering: The control system automatically adjusts the fan speed according to the board temperatures for energy conservation.
– Monitoring-board-triggering: The control system adjusts the fan speed according to the temperature information collected by the monitoring board.
